The first e-carriage in a major U.S. city was recently debuted in Philadelphia’s 2023 Holiday Parade.
The company, who supports our ban, has reached out to our city council, and wants to visit to do a demonstration, plans to expand their business to make e-carriage the solution to financial and ethical concerns associated with horse-drawn carriages. It was announced on the news positively as a “humane and eco-friendly alternative to horse-drawn carriages” and “nostalgic, a taste of the past, but also brings us into the future.”
